History

The Milestone family of institutions was founded in 2002 in Uttara, Dhaka by Colonel Nurunnabi (Retd.), who was also the founding principal of RAJUK Uttara Model College. Starting with a small number of students and a clear vision of disciplined, quality education, Milestone grew into one of the largest school-and-college families in the capital and was placed among the top ten institutions in the country in the HSC examination of 2014.

To bring the same standard of education closer to families in different parts of Dhaka and Gazipur, Milestone established its branch campuses. Milestone College Dakshinkhan is one of them, registered with the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Dhaka under EIIN 136844, School Code 487181, College Code 1224.

Today the branch continues the Milestone tradition of quality teaching, discipline and care, while building its own story of achievement in academics and co-curricular activities.
